Day 01 - Arrive Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will be received at the airport and helped to check
into your hotel, where you can relax and stay overnight.
Day 02 - Delhi
Take a tour
of Delhi and see the Qutab Minar, India Gate, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Parliament
House. In old Delhi you can see Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and the Red Fort, including
its fascinating sound and light show, before you return to your hotel to stay
overnight.
Day 03 - Delhi - Jaipur
Leave for Jaipur in the morning. Check into your hotel on arrival. You are free
in the evening to go shopping or sightseeing. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Jaipur
Leave for a tour to Amber Fort. Enjoy a joyride on an elephant up to the entrance
of Amer Fort. See the Jagmandir and Kali Temple. In Jaipur City you can see
the Jai Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Stay overnight at
your hotel in Jaipur.
Day 05 - Jaipur - Ranthambore National Park
In the morning we leave for Ranthambore, Upon arrival check into the hotel.
In the afternoon you can explore the surroundings of the Ranthambore National
Park.
Day 06 - Ranthambore
We leave early in the morning for a jungle safari. Enjoy a tiger safari in Ranthambore
National Park. Ranthambore is one of the best places to see tigers in the wild
in India.
Day 07 - Ranthmbhore - Jaipur - Agra
In the morning
we leave for Agra. On the way we stop at Fatehpur Sikri - a city with many grand
monuments of red sandstone, built by Emperor Akbar. Here you can see the Tomb
of Salim Chisti, the Jama Masjid and the Panch Mahal. We then proceed to Agra,
where you can check into your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 08 - Agra - Gwalior
In the morning we go to see the architectural wonder in white marble - the Taj
Mahal, built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. We also see Agra
Fort and other Mughal monuments in Agra. We then leave for Gwalior, where you
can check into your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 09 - Gwalior
Leave for a daylong tour and see the Teli Ka Mandir, Sas Bahu Temple, Man Singh
Palace, Jai Vilas Palace and Museum. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 10 - Gwalior - Shivpuri
In the morning we leave for Shivpuri. Arrive and check into your hotel, where
you stay overnight.
Day 11 - Shivpuri
Enjoy a day exploring the jungles of Shivpuri. Go on a wildlife safari in Shivpuri
wildlife sanctuary. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 12 - Shivpuri - Orcha
Leave for Orchha.
On the way we tour the Karera Bird Sanctuary. Arrive and check into your hotel,
where you stay overnight.
Day 13 - Orchha
Go on a daylong tour of Orchha. See the beautiful palaces - Jahangir Mahal and
Rajmahal and the Phool Bagh gardens. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 14 - Orchha - Khajuraho
Leave for Khajuraho in the morning. Arrive and check into your hotel. In the
afternoon we tour the Eastern and Western Temples, including the Kendriya Mahadev
Temple and the Devi Jagdamba Temple. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 15 - Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
Leave in the morning for Bandhavgarh. Arrive and check into the tourist lodge.
Enjoy seeing the wildlife in Bandhavgarh National Park in the afternoon. Return
to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 16 - Bandhavgarh
Enjoy jeep safaris and elephant safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park and see
a variety of flora and fauna. Also see a fort supposedly built by Lord Rama,
the hero of the Ramayana, an epic of India.
Day 17 - Bandhavgarh - Kanha
Leave for Kanha.
On arrival check into the forest lodge. Enjoy observing the wildlife in Kanha
in the evening.
Day 18 - Kanha National Park
Spend a day on a wildlife safari in Kanha National Park. Return to your jungle
lodge to stay overnight.
Day 19 - Kanha - Raipur
Leave for Raipur, the capital of Chattisgarh. Arrive and check into a hotel,
where you stay overnight.
Day 20 - Raipur - Delhi
Leave for the airport to board the flight to Delhi. Enjoy your farewell dinner
and leave for the international airport, for your flight to your onward destination
at the end of your Lure of the Jungle Tour.
