The beautiful "Royal Tiger Resort" is tastefully spread over an area of 6 acres in the buffer zone of the Kanha National Park. This 3-star property is ideally located very close to the entrance of the park at Mukki. A dense forest of mature sal trees surrounds this resort consisting of eighteen excellent suites. These suites are thoughtfully distributed around the resort in clusters of 2 and 4 to cater to different size groups.

The rooms in these suites are airy and offer an excellent view of the surrounding jungle thanks to the large windows. The Air-conditioned suites offer an atmosphere of comfort and calm and are tastefully decorated. Keeping in mind the erratic power situation we have installed a fully backup generating unit. This ensures 24 hours hot and cold running water as well as operating other essential equipment.

The attached bathrooms are of excellent quality and come as a pleasant surprise in this wild area. Each suite has an adjoining verandah, which is an ideal place to have a cup of tea or some refreshments while reading a book on nature. Our well stocked library offers you a variety of reference books and reading material

The resort has an excellent dining hall located beautifully among the wonders of nature.In the main dining room guests can enjoy delectable cuisine including fresh river fish and villages poultry. We are proud to be offering organic vegetable, wheat and milk, the farm fresh vegetables are grown in the nearby villages.

It also offers a machan on the roof, where one can sit and observe the surroundings while enjoying a drink or a nice hot soup after a tiring trip into the jungle. The kitchen is well equipped and caters thoughtfully to all pallets.

Basic first aid facilities are available at the resort but for anything requiring more serious attention, one only needs to make a short trip to the nearby towns of Baiyar or Malachkhand. Our well stocked library offers you a variety of reference books and reading material

The resort has in-house naturalists who can be contacted for any enquiries and information. These naturalists also escort the visitors during their trips into the jungle. Transport facilities for touring the jungle are available at the resort itself. Arrangements can also be made at the resort for elephant rides, which are undoubtedly the best way to get the true feel of the park. Nature walks can also be taken along the nearby river Banjar. It can be arranged for a naturalist to accompany you on these walks too.

The hospitality at the resort is excellent. Evenings can be spent relaxing around a wonderful bonfire or in the comfortable coziness of your own room.

If you are looking for a taste of the surrounding lifestyles, the resort management gladly arrange for an enthralling rural dance exhibition by the artistes of the nearby Begga village.
