Spread over an area of 13 acres the Corbett Hideaway is concealed in the thick of a mango grove, where in season, the mangoes hang ripe and luscious right against the door. Exotic mixed shrubbery, alive with flowers, is crossed by pebbled paths leading to charming cottages with open sit outs. The wonderful stillness is broken only by the sound of the Kosi River and myriad birds.

Apart from the hundred and seventy six mango trees that one can count at the Hideaway, a bountiful jackfruit tree near the reception, variegated bamboo sincluding sacaram, bushes of hibiscus, rainflower, gandharaja, ticoma, raat ki rani and haemilia, azalea aplenty, guava trees which yield fruit three times a year are some of the resorts inhabitants!

Accommodation ::
Independently air-conditioned cottages form a restful backdrop to verdant environs. Sloping tiled roofs, cool stone floors with throw rugs, block wood furniture allow maximum comfort while continuing the illusion of being in the wilds The cottages are a great hideout for nature enthusiasts, researchers, writers, artists and folks in need of getting away; There is space aplenty.

The sprawling swimming pool is incredibly blue.
The high ceiling Gurney House gives elegant shelter for lounging or indulgent dining.
The erratic lawns turn and rise into surprising landscapes, with a view of the river.
The library, an open deck, invites you to re-read Corbett's Man Eaters of Kumaon.
The cottages have a clear area separation for sleeping and living as in a suite. All the guest rooms have tea/coffee makers with attached baths.

Restaurants & Bars ::
The resort serves excellent continental and Indian cuisines. And a great variety of it all! The emphasis is on freshness of produce (Remember to ask for minestrone soup, which even though a wee bit spicy is lip smacking. And the chicken kakori kebabs that give your palate exciting information on gourmet cooking!). Gurney House: - So called after the house where Jim Corbett spent many years in Nainital, this multi-cuisine restaurant serves a variety of Indian, Mughlai, Chinese and Continental cuisines. The specialties of the Kumaon region are also a favourite feature on the menu from time to time. The High Bank, an open deck-area adjacent to the restaurant over looking the Kosi River, is also very popular with guests who want to enjoy their meals listening to soothing sounds emanating from the river

Jim's Grill: - This specialty grill house, located close to swimming pool, is a round open machhan-like structure with stools around the center. This "Gole Ghar" has a tree running through its middle. Whilst you are in Corbett, the mountain air will make you hungry and without doubt you will find yourself spending some time at the Grill House to try our Chef's delicacies. The Tusker Bar: - This thematic bar is located right next to the pool. It has a good collection of international & domestic beverages. While you are at The Tusker Bar do not forget to ask the bartender for "Hideaway Moods", an exotic cocktail made with vodka & gin. We even encourage you to get behind the bar to whip up your cocktails.

Conference and seminars get transformed into extraordinary experiences at Corbett Hideaway. The air-conditioned conference hall (60 by 27 feet) can accommodate 150 people in auditorium formation, 125 people in class formation and 45 in an intimate U-shape formation.
